Oh my God.

This is a parody, right? If it is I have to say it's hilarious. The sloppily drawn characters remind me a lot of MasterAardvark's nonsensical Madness tribute, and while the short length and abrupt cut to some random photo at the end (not to mention the music track continuing to play to its finish, not having been properly cut to the movie's length) liken it to some of those crappy spam videos you see on Newgrounds, the way the animation is done so smoothly and purposefully, if crudely, sets it apart.

It's like a deliberate, smartarse poke at all the other poorly animated Madness tributes kids put onto this site. Really, I could watch it all day.

I also love your series of clips where the feet keep not being animated, occasionally glitching out and appearing where they're not supposed to be. The scenes where the [LMH] quality bars are visible, showing how obviously the were decompiled from the original Madness videos, are my favourite.

This is spam, there is nothing to think about

Wow, it's finally happening!

Can't remember how long you've had that ProjectEnthalpy domain registered. It's great to see things are finally underway now, and I have to say the animation is looking pretty high-standard so far.

Not too sure what to make of the 3D effects at this point; they have a potential to seem out of place, but as long as the use is subtle and interwoven other aspects of a scene, I don't think it should be too conspicuous. But that said, I'm enjoying the departure from the sort of fixed-stance motion-tween reliant character movements you've used for past animations - if the FBF is taking a lot of effort, at least know that it's well-appreciated!

Honestly the only thing that didn't work so well for me was the music. I enjoyed Ramon Osborn's compositions for Nicholas' Weird Adventure 2, so nothing against his talents, but the theme song here really just sounded like a mess of FL Studio default sounds and effects at a constant volume, not building up any excitement, thus not fitting well with the fast-paced animation. The melody itself is OK, though.

So how many years do you think we have left to wait before the first episode is released? Hopefully it shan't be too much longer now. :)

NAveryW responds:

I wanted the opening music to be an orchestral version of the theme but I ran out of time and used a previous version I did as an experiment. I hadn't thought about how obvious it was I was using default FL Studio instruments, but that's a good point.

The only 3D effects in the video were the skeleton (rendered in Swift 3D) and the hovercraft (rendered in Lightwave then traced frame-by-frame in Flash). The rest was hand drawn.

Thank you for giving in-depth feedback. That's always appreciated.

You have just been trolled.

I've read all this before. I was kinda hoping for a video adaption of it, but as I can see you're just another one of those Kitty Krew spammers being a dickhead for the hell of it. Good on you. You've wasted 3.2 MB of my internet and several minutes of my time. Seriously, why did the TEXT all have to be a bitmap?

Indeed, I have just been trolled. And now I'm responding with a fully written review. How sad.

Cool!

My main criticism is that the pixel characters didn't actually do anything; they were just drawn and left there. Also quite a few of them lacked colour.

I have to say, my favourite part was actually the introduction. As short as it was, it still managed to make up 75% of the entire file size. Maybe you should consider some form of compression?

Anyway, you get a 4/5 from me. =) Hope to see more stuff like this in the future!

Logidude responds:

Thanks. I like the intro too. I might use it for all of my movies from now on.
