Can't remember how long you've had that ProjectEnthalpy domain registered. It's great to see things are finally underway now, and I have to say the animation is looking pretty high-standard so far.
Not too sure what to make of the 3D effects at this point; they have a potential to seem out of place, but as long as the use is subtle and interwoven other aspects of a scene, I don't think it should be too conspicuous. But that said, I'm enjoying the departure from the sort of fixed-stance motion-tween reliant character movements you've used for past animations - if the FBF is taking a lot of effort, at least know that it's well-appreciated!
Honestly the only thing that didn't work so well for me was the music. I enjoyed Ramon Osborn's compositions for Nicholas' Weird Adventure 2, so nothing against his talents, but the theme song here really just sounded like a mess of FL Studio default sounds and effects at a constant volume, not building up any excitement, thus not fitting well with the fast-paced animation. The melody itself is OK, though.
So how many years do you think we have left to wait before the first episode is released? Hopefully it shan't be too much longer now. :)
I wanted the opening music to be an orchestral version of the theme but I ran out of time and used a previous version I did as an experiment. I hadn't thought about how obvious it was I was using default FL Studio instruments, but that's a good point.
The only 3D effects in the video were the skeleton (rendered in Swift 3D) and the hovercraft (rendered in Lightwave then traced frame-by-frame in Flash). The rest was hand drawn.
Thank you for giving in-depth feedback. That's always appreciated.
I wouldn't call this original, really, at all ... mainly just a rip-off of other, better games (which you conveniently listed, so I won't bother). And the levels 18, 19 and 20 were so abhorrently frustrating and tedious, it brought my opinion of it down from "laughable" to "miserable". The dialogue was also really ... I don't know how to describe. I guess it was good for comic relief, after the sadism of some of the levels' design, to hear some eight year-old girl robot thing calling my suffering "cute".
As for the puzzle element, I think it's misleading to say that the levels "make you think", when half the time it's all about getting the timing right to jump on or off some platform, and the other half it's just a case of letting the gravity squares slide you to the exit with minimal input. I also agree with many that the controls could have been a lot better, without you having to change your perspective on the buttons every time your character changed direction. It just made things confusing when timing and co-ordination REALLY mattered.
So I'm rather disappoint, but if you take the advice of the players, you should hit on something fun. :/
... that is, until about halfway through where you just shove it into everyone's faces, stripping the animation of all the charm and irony it had in the beginning. Sorry, I just couldn't enjoy it after that.
Not much to say that hasn't already been said; it's just weird to think that, as I zoom into the thing on my screen, that circle I was just looking at before would theoretically now be the size of the entire universe ...
I'm guessing you had the objects deleted from memory when they weren't currently being displayed by the program, because there's no way Flash would have been able to calculate and store all those sizes at once.
Oh, and good luck finding a screen big enough to display it without the zoom feature!

Haha
Not bad, especially for a first. Do you know you're featured in the "My Name is Grillex" YouTube video?

@sanjeev98
No, it's an April Fools' joke based on David Firth recently having announced that Salad Fingers 9 WILL be coming soon.

Haha, nice, and subtle.

Well that was very ... thought provoking.
However, I voted a 1 out of 5 because it makes poop look good.

Huh ...
I dunno, I got kind of stuck on Level 2.
